Knights of Columbus

Welcome to the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Dwenger Council 1881, located in Rensselaer, Indiana.  The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Roman Catholic fraternal service organization. Founded in the United States in 1882, it is named in honor of Christopher Columbus. There are more than 1.8 million members in 15,000 councils, with nearly 200 councils on college campuses. Membership is limited to "practical Catholic" men aged 18 or older.

We encourage you to check out the various pages on this site , learn more about what the Knights do not only within our Catholic community, but within the Rensselaer and Jasper County community as well.  We also hope you will join us for one of our Friday night fish fry's (and more!), one of our pork chop dinners, or any of the other special events we have scheduled, most of which are open to the general public.
